Hi. I was wondering how people calibrate their monitor to ensure that the brightness and contrast is appropriate. Do you work simply off the gamma chart, or do you try to match a grey card to your monitor, or some other trick?
Catch - I'm talking about a cheapo monitor, not professional stuff. I need the quick and dirty way to ensure what looks good on my monitor will look ok on everyone elses.
