Here is a montage of videos from my trip to Hawaii taken with a Panasonic Lumix TS-3. You can get a feel for what the camera can do. I enjoyed it quite a bit overall and thought it did a good job. It is hard to hold a camera still underwater and I did notice that my finger got in the way at times because I'm not used to the lens being up in the corner like a postage stamp.
That was cool. But I do have to admit when I first read the thread title I thought it said 'Underwear video from trip to Hawaii'. Guess it's time for new glasses or increase my screen size.
You'd probably enjoy having a GoPro. I got some great underwater footage while snorkeling in the Bahamas last month. It's just a great, fun little camera for sports stuff in general.

i haven't been to hanauma bay in probably 20 years.
before you were able to bring food to feed the fish. for some reason, everyone brought bags of frozen peas with them. as soon as the fish saw you with a bag of peas, the swarmed around you.
i recognized the small valleys in the reef and that light hole you could swim through. i remember that's on the left side of the bay.

That video was pretty awesome. It would be fun to be young, reckless, and have one of those. Currently I would be 0 for 3 on those counts... :)
Very nice. That camera puts out great video for that price. How do the stills look from it?
I have the first generation version of this camera and it does a great job outdoors for still photo work. As you would expect, it is not great for low light, but for travel, outdoor, daytime photography, it works great. Hopefully Doc can post a few images of the new generation T3.

cool. I want to get a knock around camera for use with the kids and to do some underwatter stuff. May have to look into this.
Very cool. Thank you for posting. I think I may have to add this camera to my collection. Especially as it looks like I am moving to SW Florida this summer, it would come in handy.
