Now don't get me wrong, redeye removal works just fine in-camera and in PS CS5...so long as you're dealing with homo sapiens, aka us humans.
However animals, it's a whole 'nuther story. Here's an example:
From what little I know, the rods and cones in their eyes are arranged way differently from ours hence the freakazoid effects. But what I want to know is, how the hell do you deal with situations like this?!
Yeah I know part of the problem is that I used on-board flash (I've almost got enough saved up for a REAL flash).
But apart from that...OK PS wizards, go nuts!!! Fix the glowing eyes then tell me in plain and simple terms how you did it.
That is awesome, If I was drinking milk it would be out my nose. I was not expecting "Demon Kitty" when I visited this post. How do you fix it? In this case... don't... ever. You captured the true soul of the kitteh :)
PSElements redeye correction 80% pupil, 50% darken. Pretty easy, but the quick clicks left the eyes looking like the cat was cross-eyed. So, cloned the right eye and replaced the left eye to give more symmetry. Not legal, except in Expert.
But now for my next question: is it legal in Advanced? Because you aren't supposed to add new features, would that not include the glints/catchlights? Geddit? 'Cat-chlights'?
Bwahahaahaaa...I'm sooo funny...;-)
ETA @ hahn23...yep you just answered my question...and yes she is a little bit crosseyed!

I think what hahn23 was saying was that the cross eyed version is legal in advanced, but replacing the left eye is illegal except in expert.

My apologies sweet Galena, but I just couldn't resist!!!!
Susan it's worse in cyan colored eyes, my little siamese goes demon red, unless I have the flash off camera or bounced... My green eyed B/W will get white puplis but her eye color stays.. Yeah I also heard it's the cones in the eyes.
