As some of you may know, I'm a product development engineer. I've worked on new cars, home appliances, surgical tools, fluid handling equipment and all manner of engineered products. Recently, I've come up with a concept based on a project I did in my Optical System Design class for some macro lighting hardware. Before I take the concept further, I need input from photographers who do macro work about what gear they currently use. If you do macro, I'd appreciate your input on my survey.
I completed it as best I could, but I'm not sure how helpful the answers will be. I think the questions requiring a numeric answer would have been better if it had been possible to enter a range rather than a single number.

Possibly. I'm still learning about making the surveys. At this early stage, a reasonable estimate will do just fine.
