Cool indeed. I have an identical one, and I do use it. Makes a great travel mug, fits nicely in most cup holders. And it is a conversation piece.
ETA: Originally, they were made as a Canon give-away for photogs covering the WInter Olympics a few years ago. Someone in Canada later obtained rights to sell them; I assume they paid a royalty to Canon on each one sold.
