Hey folks, I\\\'m new to photography. My father who has been a photographer for 35 years gave me a d40x which i\\\'ve had for a couple of years. I\\\'ve tinkered around with it and snapped some photos while traveling. I\\\'ve taken an interest in photography for a long time now and decided that I want to start getting a little more serious about it. I am taking photography 101 at my college this quarter. As a starting point I decided to pull out a couple of shots from my trip from WA to CA. If you could tell me what you think about these photos, the before and afters I\\\'d really appreciate it. Any tips or pointers are great.
People are often intrigued by my photos and long time photographers tell me that I could go far in photography. These photos are nothing special, but I thought they were interesting!
