I am personally fascinated by the never really taught "art of seeing".
Morris says that in the photographs "we don't get a picture of the world" - true. We get our response to the world more often than not.
There is a book by James Elkin whose title says it all: "The Object Stares Back". Yes, we are looked at and asked for a response. |
