just curious ... has anyone ever tried to use a webcam cap for DPC? some of these cams let you pan, zoom, freeze, and capture, so you are really setting up the shot. they only issue would be the possible lack of the full EXIF data you'd get from a camera (f-stop, shutter speed, etc.), although most put a timestamp on the original.
this allows you to get a photo from a location you might never be able to get to in person.
