This is an open SC for everyone. and here are the rules...
Use a hot-shoe flash (attached top of your camera) and take photos only bouncing the flash from side walls only (not from ceiling). Don't aim the flash to your subject even with the flash's white bouncer card built in. Challenge is to use any wall that you can use as a diffuser. You can use reflectors to lit other side of your subject.
I bet some of you don't know how to use this method to take excellent photos, which I use often :-) No external flash, umbrellas or soft-boxes needed. Down side, you will need to use manual option on your flash and power it up a little bit, depending on the distance of the wall you're going to use :)
Edit: Let's add a rule here and adjust, you may actually use off-camera flash (not a strobe light though) to create your images.
Just curious, why no allowance for using a ceiling, or a bounce card (to create a catchlight)?
With the angle of your flash, there will be some leak for the catch light. So, I would not aim the flash behind the camera, but little forward, which should also give catch light.
This is just a coincidence, Frank Doorhof just started a blog (actually a guest) but it's about the bounce flash... Now, this one little different, using a regular camera flash externally... Let's add a rule here and adjust to this, you may actually use off-camera flash (not a strobe light though) to create your images.

I have been shooting a lot with my Bees and my speedlites have been neglected. This could be fun plus it is much easier to do self portraits at different locations with just using a flash. Count me in.
Now, recalling where I took this, I'm > 95 % sure this was bounced off the wall.
Ack: I thought I had more....looks like I'll have to go shoot now. :) I looked at some others but they were obvious that the bounce was from the ceiling....although, many of them were bounced to the left or right and not straight up. In other words, I wasn't shooting off a wall, but didn't want the lower shadows, so I aimed the flash down 45° and bounced off the ceiling further away...doesn't count though. :)
Well I didn't bounce it off a wall but I did use just one flash and bounced it off the table. Thanks for giving me the idea, it fared pretty well in the challenge.
