My main issue with photoaccess, dotphoto, ofoto, shutterfly etc is the wide variance in their color renditions. When I started looking for places to prints, I put together a set of 10 prints that I knew how I wanted to look, and sent them to the various places. Every single place printed them very differently - and they don't provide the facilities you need to control those variances.
Certainly worth spending the upfront time to comapre the quality - e.g., some of them use the cheapest, least protecting shipping envelopes. Largely, you get what you pay for. and when you are paying 29c, that isn't a whole lot to expect much for.
