I just noticed that I passed 100 challenge entries, and I wanted to say thanks to the community as a whole and to countless individuals for the continuing education. I registered at the site back in 2004 and enjoyed looking at the photography and seeing how different people interpreted the challenge topics differently. Last Christmas I finally got a nice camera, paid for a membership, and started entering challenges early in 2011. I am surprised at how much I have learned and amazed how friendly and helpful the DPL community is. I have gotten into the top 10 a total of 16 times including one third place ribbon and one fourth and fifth honorable mentions. I still have sooooo much to learn, but I am happy with my progress so far. So, thanks again -- you guys are great. |
