Don,t really know why but I have not found the new site as........I don't know......fun.......user friendly.......it just isn't DPC any more. I felt I was improving as a photographer and was loving submitting pictures every week but for the last month aleast I have not be motivated to submit. Wish I knew what it was and I hope to rediscover my passion but for now I'm off to the other site.
Sorry to hear you're losing interest... I doubt it is the site that's to blame though. In the same time period, my passion for the hobby has increased...
It's likely just an ebb / flow kind of thing... I'd suggest going somewhere you've never been and shooting a few gig of images... Lose the lens cap, gain the passion :)
I am sorry you wish to leave,I am new to this site and very new photograghy,This site has tought me so much in a short time.
Every one is so helpful,I think you will be back very soon .There is no other site as good as this.

attention: all photogs who become disillusioned either by DPC or 'other' photo sites
send me your cameras - i will see to it that they do not become buried under layers of dust - i promise to take them out of the bags at least once per week and push all their little buttons and check all the battery levels - they will be very happy, i can assure you :)
