So I have been planning a specific shot for a while now but, it spans over a couple of days/months and all the images would be taken from the exact same place of the same exact scene.
If there was a challenge that I wanted to enter this image into, would it be legal to enter the image if portions of the shot were taken before the submission deadline began even if the majority of the image would be comprised of shots taken during the allowed submission period?
Also, if I were to take a long exposure shot at around 11:59PM and it lasted into 12:00AM the next day and an entry period began 12:00AM of that day. Could I enter the image as the camera was still taking the picture during the allowed submission dates?
(I guess that's the same point as #1?)
This one i'm pretty sure wouldn't be allowed.. But it doesn't hurt to ask (Or does it)..
Would it be legal to enter a still from a spliced movie file?? The rules state, an entry must be a jpeg file taken from a Digital Camera.. Just like a photo is taken in raw and then converted, can an .avi file be spliced and converted into a .jpeg file as an entry?
