I read a while ago that the names of those leaving comments used to be included right away but that it was removed. I've also noticed some folks put their name in the comments. How do people feel about having the names of commenters? Is it bad form to PM someone asking a question about their comment? I won't mention jmsetzler by name, but I got a comment that I wanted to ask if an outtake of mine is what he meant. I planned to post the outtake and PM a message asking if this was what he meant and does he think it's better.
I'm torn on this because I DON'T want to be thought to be trying to influance a vote, and I also don't want to take up someone elses time because they were kind enough to give a good suggestion. But I figure someone that left a comment already voted, so it's too late to try and sway the ballot, and if he's done voting, well, no one here has anything ELSE they need to do besides this site, do we? :)
