I think there is a fuzzy line somewhere. I do think the anthropomorphic images are more obvious and are doing better, but are not *quite* what the subject was intended to be. To me, the subject is more about seeing images in random patterns such as clouds, peeling paint and stains on the sidewalk. See  bvy's portfolio for any number of examples.
