I love these sites where you pay a hefty entry fee and if you are skilled and lucky enough to be the the one who wins, you could win $100 gift certificate and various stuff you either already have, or don't really want. I know they have to pay off the prizes, pay the judges and the like, but $25 per entrant seems like they ought to make a very tidy profit. 3 prizes in each of eleven categories. If you win you get $180 in gift certificates (decorate your lens $50 off, canvas print $30 off, ect.), 2 lens plates, BreezeBrowser, seems like whatever they could get free.
I would love to know how many entrants they will get at $25 a pop. |
