Rugman1969 emailed me and says he was banned from posting until 9/12. Not sure if that is 9/12 next week or 9/2012 next year.

Due to a number of complaints about your forum posting (some of which were cumulative frustration with your posts), you are hereby suspended from posting in the forums until 9/12.
The next paragraph is some advice but starts: Please be courteous and respectful to others in the forums.
I checked Rugman1969 posts that are listed on his profile. Not one was even close to being bad enough to be banned. In fact, I saw a few posts that indirectly insulted him ! In fact, a few members came to his aid !
Read over his posts and see if you spot anything that others don't do HUNDREDS of times a day.
NOTE TO SC: Be careful when you send out messages to members telling them that someone complained. The one Rugman1969 received includes the name of the member that opened the ticket !!!! I searched Rugman1969 posts and can't see where THAT person even interacted with him. So now just NOT LIKING SOMEONES' POSTS CAN GET YOU BANNED?
So, not to be contrary, but had he received any warnings prior to the suspension, or just "pow." It seems strange. Normally, in order to enact a suspension, the poster really needs to be a bad actor... with the exception of spammer accounts, which get nuked pretty much without warning or apology.
There has to be more to this story.
He does not have any warnings in his inbox to my knowledge. I'll email him to find out for sure.

9/12 is either Sept. 12th (which is most likely), or December 9th.
I know that you and rugman BOTH like to be as indirectly pushy as you can, but I also know a dozen other people that are a lot worse, so this could be a case of SC bowing to pressure from some individuals that have just had enough for whatever personal reasons they may have.
Or it could be that there are many many other reasons behind things than we can see or know about publicly.
Who knows right? This thread in itself is a bit of a one-sided push to get people to react instinctively isn't it? The whole, "OH NOES! INJUSTICE!" thing so people will go, "I'm with you brotha!"
What happened to good ol' communication with SC behind the scenes to sort out the reality of the situation? Did you ever think of that?
It took a long time for them to tame Slippy and Leroy and as a result, nothing much to satisfy the folks' craving for drama. Someone should invite SheWho back.
