I don't think he will ask so I will. Christophe Gyaban has 3 pieces in a gallery opening (selected by jury) and I would love to see his work on display. Don't know if anyone might be able to swing by and nab a photo or three? I am sure dslr's won't be allowed but perhaps a camera phone image will be allowed.

I never thought my work would hang someday on a gallery's wall, let alone in Los Angeles :-) I'm thrilled I must say. A special thanks to Erin, who actually told me about the exhibit's selection and encouraged me to submit my work.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to see it personally, LA is quite far from Paris and I can't afford a trip on such short notice. I'm amazed that some of you live close enough to the place, and even consider going there! So thank you all again, I am quite proud of this achievement, and thanks also to DPC as a whole, since the 3 images were specifically made for challenges.

I can't make it either - but if someone can snap a pic I'd love to see it. I think it is so amazing how DPC really helps mold and build photographers talent. Good on you Christophe for really pushing yourself every time you enter - you are an inspiration!!

Yahooo - thank you. How fun is that for Christophe?!? ..... I am living vicariously through him because although I have pics hanging on walls in houses - it is because they have a connection to the people in the photo (i.e., family portraits) but to think of someone buying a piece because it is just simply cool art is a dream. I truly think gyaban creates that kind of work.
WOW!! Just found this thread - I told you, Christophe! You are very talented and no doubt in my mind that you could earn good money in photography, a rare treat for most artists.
