Lately I seem to be having an issue with my images looking much more saturated once I bring them into DPC. On my laptop they don't look that way; however, I edit on my desktop with a calibrated monitor. Image looks fine on my screen but then when I download to DPC it looks oversaturated. Anyone else have this problem?
i used to have this problem, but then when i looked at my entry on another computer on dpc it looked fine... also try saving it for web and devices in photoshop if you can.

Well, you're editing on a calibrated desktop monitor, and viewing in browser software on a laptop. I'm not surprised the look different.
First, compare the two images using the same program on both the desktop and the laptop. If they are the same, then there's a problem with viewing the images with the browser. However, if they are not the same, then the difference may have nothing to do with the internet or the browser, just a difference in your displays.
I had the same problem once. I edited in my desktop. Uploaded to dpc. Opened the image in browser in the same desktop. Colors dont match.
The problem was traced to my camera color profile set to adobe rgb. Photoshop was intelligent enough to understand this and was able to display correct colors. But the browser, as well as windows image viewer, understands srgb only. Thus the discrepancy in colors.
Thanks for the replies. I may not have explained it very well. I edit in Photoshop and save for web. Saturation looks right on my screen. Upload to DPC and the colors look oversaturated on my screen. Look at the image on DPC using the laptop and it looks O.K. So maybe I don't have a problem if they look O.K. on the laptop; however, not sure what everyone else sees.

I thought about this also, but it appears that they are in srgb. I'll check my camera profile. Thanks.
