Well, there's photo ops everywhere LOL. Wrightwood is a small town near two small ski resorts. There are also areas nearby with small lakes, hiking trails, stables for horseback riding, etc. If you like scenic views, there are some hiking trails which will give you some decent vistas overlooking the desert nearby. Keep in mind none of this is right there in Wrightwood, which is a relatively small town. If you are driving a long way just to go there, I would say there are probably better destinations. You would probably have to research the area a bit to know where to go depending on what you want to photograph.
