My computer won't let me type anything in the google tool bar search box. Any suggestions as to what one of the kids might have touched to make this happen? I've rebooted 3 times, I'm running virus scans. There aren't any buttons stuck on the keyboard and I can type fine in a text box (like this one).

Try clearing history/cache in your browser. Also right-click the search bar and 'clear search history' in case there's something weird happening with auto-complete.

Thanks. It turned out to be a problem with google toolbar itself. It was giving a script error, but it was flashing so fast I couldn't see it. It just started showing up & staying after I cleared the cache which made it easier to find a solution. If anyone else is having this problem, turn off google instant.
