My take: (Pretty close to Photom's)
1: Very nice butterfly, needs to be cropped as there is too much open space, I might adjust the contrast as well. Seems a little flat to me.
3: As Photom stated no real focal point.
4: I don't know how you metered this but I would Spot Meter on the center of the flower to darken it up a bit and draw a little more detail out.
5: I'm not too crazy about the crop, as it is it seems to overwhelm the frame. Nice details though.
6: Definately too much dof. Nice clear flowers, and good lighting.
My thoughts on Macros is: Get right the heck in there. Too many times people are worried about getting an entire flower (or entire group) centered in the frame. Get close, don't be afraid to cut parts of the flower (subject) off. You are going to crop the detail later.
If your camera's macro mode is working properly dof will naturally be shallow. If you don't have macro use zoom get as close to the subject as you can (and be in focus on the subject) and use Av mode or If you have manual focus try that.
Get in Close on your flowers.
Get in close on your bugs and blur the background
