The Free Study Marathon (FSM) is a side challenge that I started 5 years ago. Members signup starting around October through December 31st.
Members are rated on their monthly free study scores and on improvement points.
It's a marathon because if you miss a monthly free study it's not impossible but very difficult to win the FSM.

Yes. Users have not entered a FSM challenge this year. However, I noticed a couple of users that fell into the gray area that have entered a challenge. I will have to correct that.
I can't believe I have gone up again to 20th. I really think half of the key to victory is just entering every month.
Your right! Entering each month (Marathon) will get the user in the top 25 and with every entry their skills will grow and before long they will find themselves fighting for the title.

Jumped 8 spots to 72. I've entered every FS challenge but I guess you also need to take good shots to get in that top 25 :-)

Your time will come, believe me. You will jump in the ranks.
1. Try to enter every monthly Free Study.
2. Try to beat your average each time. This earns you improvement points (up to 5 points per month).
3. Look through all your photographs you have taken each month. You will find a gem within!
