i have been a loyal cbs sportsline user for nearly a decade, but i am getting tired of the fee. $180? even the $150 early bird is steep, so im looking for alternatives you folks like and are happy with, i have played in a league that used fanball and i despised the interface.

i dont mind paying for quality, and cbs does offer that, im just looking to save a few bucks this year to put back in the prize pot since i am losing a few teams probably due to troubled the economic times.

i play in the free yahoo league, they have a premium option also but for our purposes it's been perfect.

im checking out ESPN right now and it seems to do everything cbs did, plus its free, of course it doesn't seem to keep track of money, which it would need to do.

NFL.com is pretty good. I've used it the last two years.

yeah they look pretty good too. the biggest issue i have is that they dont seem to track transaction costs they way cbs did. I charge a add/drop fee per player so tracking would be a must, however to save $180 bucks i may just redo my fees and not charge per transaction.

CBS is the best for higher stakes leagues. Yahoo or ESPN for free leagues. Ive used Yahoo for more than 10 years now and the commish tracks the payouts. Cheap (ie. Free), but you gotta put some work in.
