Has anyone ever bought any refurbished gear direct from Canon:

The prices seem really good, but I was wondering if anyone has had problems with a refurbished product.

I just got my 100-400L refurbished there. Saved about $300 and it looks and feels brand new. The only thing you lose out on is warranty. Instead of the normal warranty you get 90 days. But to me, this was well worth the money.

My 50D is a refurb, bought direct from Canon through their loyalty program. Has worked perfectly for almost 2 years.

I've got a refurb 50D and several lenses. All were indistinguishable from new.
