So, my wife wants me to find a photo sharing site. Basically, she wants a site where users can upload/download photos to a certain Gallery. We had a ton of people taking photos at our wedding, and she wants those people to be able to upload those pictures somewhere so that we, and other people, can download them and upload our own.

Does such site exist?

The easiest one that comes to mind is Flickr

Set up a group on Flickr. You can control who has access in Flickr, who can post, who can belong.

It is likely the easiest route. Others may have ideas as well...

I agree, Flickr is probably the easiest thing. I doubt there is anything where people won't have to create an account. My Flickr meetup group does a similar thing every year for WWII Weekend in Waxahachie A handful of the group members are our meetup group, and the rest are other event participants. It puts all (or at least most) of the photos from this event in a central easy to access location.

Looks like Flickr it is then. I'll give her a call and tell her she needs to make an account and such, since that'll at least give her something to do while I'm at work...working very hard, clearly.

We considered flickr for our wedding, but if someone took a ton of shots (over 200), they would gave to pay $25 to go pro. We settled on picasaweb, where there is no limit on numbers. I bought 20 gigs of storage for $5 and invited friends to share to my albums.
