is the entry in a challenge being voted on? if so, there's nothing you can do about it.
if it's just an image, if you are using photoshop, simply save for web and don't include any exif. if you're using something else (like bridge), poke through the saving/exporting options until you find something that lets you export only the image. otherwise, get another tool ;-)
