Awww, for goodness sakes. I don't, as a matter of course, click on anything labeled "Fox News" but
this //www.headline about trademarking called "Navy Fights Mickey Mouse for SEALs Trademark" was just too much.

If there is any truth at all in the story, the venerable Disney trademark loses considerable credibility in my book.
No, people, The Navy Seals are in the public domain, yeah, they are. we can be proud of these folk without paying Disney for the privilege.

"But the U.S. Navy may have the argument that they are, you know, actually the SEALs"

Wise move on Disney"s part. Can't think of any group the move made happy. Navy SEALS, and their supporters, military supporters in general, and I imagine some followers of Islam could be insulted as well. I saw it as a cheap grab for a marketable namemthat Disney did nothing to develop, or invent.

I'm glad they were smart enough to see the negative publicity headed their way, and back off.
