Wow.. tough vote on fear.. this is the first challenge I have seen where only three photos scored above a 6 :(

That's ok. Makes my 4 middle of the road instead of lower deck. Best three did as usual rise to the top. Congrats to the winners. Aelith

I'm pleased to see a photo showing the absence of fear placing #1 ;-) I wonder what the people of the "No Fear was not the challenge" fraction voted on this excellent shot...

As always there are some photos where I'm surprised that they didn't score higher:

Also no fear ! is much better than last place!

I'm not surprised my Feeding Time didn't score higher, though I am disappointed.

I believe it's because I broke all the unwritten golden rules of this site: negative space, B&W, grain, blur.... Use one of these and your taking your score in your hands. Use more than one and you're just screwed. :-)

Thanks for the vote of confidence, though.

I had NO problem with any of the "rules" cited above and gave you an 8. I read your description and think you accomplished what you tried to.
