In a previous post, I was wondering how to communicate with a Sony CyberShot camera. I came to the conclusion that it was possible to use the Sony Lanc protocol (//www.boehmel.de/lanc.htm). But I never actually tried it because it seem so particular to video recorders.
Does someone knows about CyberShot remote control protocol?
