Actually the party is an outside party. Which to me seemed sorta weird until she informed me later (after I posted the original forum thread post) that it is a "vintage surfer" theme. This is what I was thinking. Should I do some specific style or shots? Or just go with whatever feels right at the time? Basically what I am asking is.. Is there any traditional shots that I NEED to take other than the candid ones during the party. |
Engagement parties aren't really traditional. There's usually an engagement session the couple will do before the wedding, sometimes a bridal shoot for traditional stuff, and then they'll get a bunch of traditional shots at the wedding.
As the sun goes down, you'll still need to switch to the 50 1.8...same as indoors.
I'd rent an sb900 and use it every day until the shoot so you know how to work it. |
