Disagree with that, Leo. I took it as something gold colored. That's how I'll be voting, and judging from the handful of folks that I've given feedback to, that's how many others are reading it as well.
As far as I know, the subject "must" be gold, or gold plated (not gold colored)
No jewelry, everything else. Gold money, gold pen, gold teeth.

It doesn't say 'made of gold' - anything gold coloured will be fine; just as there was no expectation for the last Orange challenge would be entirely fruit based!
You are just interpreting the description differently. It does not say gold the metal, nor does it say gold the color. It just says gold, which leaves it open to a narrow or broad interpretation, I suppose.
When I hear "Gold", I usually think the metal... or gold (metal) plated surface. I only think about something gold colored, if it was described as "Gold colored"... Such as, my face was sprayed with gold color... if I hear "my face was gold", trust me, I'd think you became a gold statue or put a gold plated mask on your face.

I disagree - stating no jewelry only restricts some objects that can be used in the chalelnge. Gold is a color as well as a metal, so therefore all other objects should be allowed, whether a golden egg, a golden leaf, a golden sunset, or a gold nugget.
People, just look at the first Gold challenge. Clearly it does not have to be made of Gold based on those results.
And I don't think the description implies it either.

Well, I think arguing this subject is pointless... since this is the "numero II" of the first gold challenge, and the winners of that one are NOT gold (metal)... it is the color gold ladies and gentlemen
