I want to go all out for this challenge. I've dealt with depression for years and I have had several photos come to mind that would portray this well. However, there are too many to pick from.
I am not a religious man, but I fear I may be going to Hell, or at the very least making a stop-over in Purgatory.
Today I shot for the sadness challenge, and while my actions were not so cruel as, for instance, telling a little girl her parents had died just in order to capture her grief and tears...
I still feel I may be going to Hell...
Please, I cry out to the DPC community, please validate my photo in some way, so that I may make the argument to Saint Peter that the end justified the means!
By the way, while in Purgatory, I hope to gather some awesome material for the next Fire Challenge! ;)

Lol, I feel kind of bad messaging people, because I feel like I have been asking a LOT lately.
I figure if I post in this thread, people can ignore me if they wish :-P (though hopefully someone will be willing to take a look)
Just managed with a speedy help from some kind DPCers to submit my Sadness. So I repeat here the story I just posted elsewhere, between peals of nervous laughter:
In the last day a piece of furniture fell on one of my husband's paintings and ripped it, then my husband sat on a chair that broke under him, I stepped on one of my most elaborate drawings trying to help him, went for a walk and lost the little Canon Powershot with which I took the very picture I was having trouble submitting!
I better go to sleep.

I am SO sorry all that has happened to you.... Things have to go up from here. Some day you will look back at this and laugh - but probably not today. Fingers crossed....
