Just wondering for those in the business of wedding photography or other photography related work, what the workforce is like in Canada/U.S? I've been offered a job here in Japan to work in commercial photography but turned it down. It was twice the work at less than a quarter the salary I make now. If I thought long term it might be a good move but I don't intend on staying in Japan forever (Although 12 years in it seems like forever). Would love to be able to support a family doing something I love. It's not that I don't like what I do now, I just like photography that much more. |
