I have been wanting to do this for awhile but I have been too busy with other projects. I finally have a little down time and I need a kick in the rear to get going on my digital scrapbooking.
I don't know if there will be any interest in this but I thought I would put it out there just in case. This will be a super casual side challenge just post when you can.
My hope is to get some good layout ideas from other people, and keep me motivated to get some of my pages done.
One other incentive, this is a fabulous way to learn how to use layers. This is how I learned and most of what I learned in digital scrapbooking directly translates to photo editing.
Things you will need to participate: any program that lets you use layers, (example: photoshop elements 6 or higher version) other programs will work as well as long as you have the ability to use layers.
Here are a couple examples of ones I have done in the past, I plan on providing everyone with the links to the free textures, ribbons, paper and other decorations I have found online (I have hundreds). That way you can get busy downloading the stuff you will need to get started before the challenge start.
P.S. this stuff also might be useful for those wanting to provide Christmas cards for clients or make templates for wedding photos.
I'm interested. Like you, I'm super busy right now. But, I do some collages and stuff similar to this, but would be interested in attempting the other "stuff" as well.
