I've seen people go down this path before...does anyone else think he's fooling himself by thinking that he's clean? I wish him the best...but at this point the best is help IMO...and he's not getting enough. I HONESTLY hope he proves me wrong...but the gambler inside me says 'no'...
the guy is a complete train wreck and a loser. a drug addict with delusions of gandeur. listening to him for 30 seconds i know what he's all about. hes like all the alcoholics in my extended family when i was kid. sit around and ramble all night, make big promises to you as a kid and the next day have no idea what you're talking about.
I don't like watching it. Reminds me too much of my alcoholic sister. She leaves a path of destruction where ever she goes. She has lost her family (husband and three kids) and is driving my elderly parents to an early grave.
After awhile you start to loose sympathy and you just end up mad.
Charlie obviously has some big problems. Addiction is not a pretty disease, regardless of the substance or object that is being abused. I agree with one thing that has been said here, the media is really getting a kick of out this. It is easy to report on how disturbed Charlie Sheen is. He has been a relatively admired individual in some circles for years, and showing his slow spiral into addiction makes for tragic and humorous television. I have seen a ton of people just like Charlie. Some of them get better, some go to jails, some go to psych wards, and some just die. Though, I hope at some level, Mr. Sheen realizes now that he is not, "WINNING".
I think Charlie is showing all the qualities that would make him a perfect prime time host on Fox news.

while i have doubt whatsoever that he must be binging on one substance or another while his sons are not living with him (yes i watched the whole abc interview) the fact that he passed a drug test after that interview blows my mind. is he THAT nutty or drug soaked that he's lost part of his mind? and honestly, when he was sitting with his TWO porn star girlfriends and his two sons...they actually looked like they might be a happy family. bottom line is, he's certainly VERY entertaining. i dont wish him ill or harm and he LOOKS like he's been ridden hard and put away wet BUT the guy certainly looks happy and so does his (admittedly unorthodox) family....i can't see knocking him for whatever he IS doing

I now watch Al Jezerra English language version for my news.
They don't report on Charlie Sheen. They at least recognize
news when they see it. If I want entertainment news I'll
check out People's magazine or some such. LOL :)

Watching someone self-destruct, leaving a trail of real mental, sometimes physical damage to others in their wake, is not entertainment, it's morbid voyeurism.

how do you know he isn't "acting".
He's voluntarily putting on a show, it's not like we are watching and making fun of someone who doesn't want the attention.
I saw an interview with Charlie a few years back after he got out of rehab, and he sounded completely normal. Now, he sounds like a complete idiot, who is obviously on something. He must thing the whole world is as stupid as he is, by saying he is clean. As far as the drug tests, instead of peeing in a cup, they should have taken hair samples. He could have been one of the great actors, but is going to be known as one of the biggest could-have-beens.
He said on 20/20 that he was a "Totally bitchin rockstar." I too think he is a totally bitchin rock star...just like Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Elvis, and Jim Morrison. Any bets on how much longer it will be??
