Just remember that some of the most intriguing photographs in here won't ever make it to the front pages in challenges. It's not the scores that matter but, the comments and the feeling that you get as a photographer from your work that really matters. The scoring in here seems to reflect a taste for a certain type/style. Those who achieve that style...get the ribbons and front pages. Those who dare to have their own style, get punished by lower scores but, it's not a reflection of your work as a whole. It's simply a reflection of how closely you've matched that style/look that gets the marks.

I so agree on the every now and again, getting good scores makes us feel good! :) Just ain't seen many of them lately. :) LOL
