I can't believe that there won't be at least 58 entries...after all, Nude had 58 and that was probably the most difficult challenge for people to find models for...self portraits of some of the photographers included! LOL

Probably, you´re right too. But in nude challenge you´ve to shoot a nude and in freedom challenge you´ve to think a lot...hehehe.. And I´m so much lazy to think more than 2 minutes
Just take a shot of anything and title it "Freedom is...."! We need more entries, I would really hate getting a brown ribbon with so few in competition!
I think it's a lot like air...you can't see it, you can't taste it, you can't feel it, but you know it's all around you. Also, there are a lot of people who live in places that take freedom for granted so much that it's almost impossible for them to describe, much less photograph. I have submitted something, but I don't know how well it will go over...it's one of "those" images that folks will either love or hate. I expect to get a few "does not meet the challenge" comments, but I think the image is perfect for this challenge. We'll see. :o)

You know I thought about going to that site with a model, but I had a similar in the june free study wich just ended. But I agree this is freedom expecially because the shot is candid, takes place in the central park on my town, girls did it on theyr own, I don't know them and they don't even know I took the pictures. :)) Also they risked a bounch if a cop would saw them I don't think they would escaped without a ticket. Where I live you get tickets only for stepping on the grass in a park.

If you know it will be DQ'ed, why not just remove it?

Your best bet then, would be to remove it from the challenge, and (if you do not get a chance to reshoot it) post it to the forum for comments. In cases where a participant knowingly submits an entry that violates the rules, we typically issue a suspension in addition to the DQ.
