I just saw this on Facebook and it addresses questions that are often posted here in the DPC forums such as "Is this contest legit?", "Is the price of this camera for real?", and more:

4 Scams That Target Photographers

I've seen numerous threads on these so-called contests and I've even asked for opinions on a deal for a camera that seemed to good to be true.

Great article. Go to the bottom and click on the link that shows the actual building addresses from retailers in Brooklyn and Manhattan. There are some very dubious scam locations. All members looking for a "good deal" from one of these crooks should beware.

Incidentally, I have recently inherited a large sum ($72,504,233) from an uncle in the Ukraine, but I'm afraid that I cannot transfer the money directly to my account, if you would also be willing to act as an intermediary I will pay 10% of the total sum to you for your services (please send signed power of attorney so I can act fast before I lose the inheritance due to taxes).
