Hi everyone! :D I've been wanting to join this site for awhile now. I got hooked on it taking Photography at the beginning of Junior year in High School. I just signed up a couple days ago and am now getting the hang of things; as well as getting used to my new camera.
I also enjoy that there are people in my age range here, as well. It's nice to know that I wont be the only "youngen" to be critized or looked down upon.

Remember that the voting is anonymous, so people will vote and comment on your pictures the same as everyone else's. This is one of the few places where "kids" can compete with adults on a "level playing field" as they say. My son Isaac submitted some pictures when he was only five, and finished ahead of me in one of those ... :-)

Well, I expect hard criticism and to be voted upon honestly. I actually look forward to the comments, good and bad, so I learn from it and can improve.
