So I take a picture, RAW mode, JPEG mode, doesn't matter.
I download the shot and I like it, but it needs some work - colour balance, maybe some delicate sharpening, bit of dodging, burning and some light use of the clone tool to tidy up the background - all well within the 'advanced editing' rules.
So, I find a friend who is more proficient in photoshop than I am, get them to do the editing. Can I submit the photo to dpc ?
Many of the now considered masters of photography used the services of expert printmakers to create the final versions of their images - they were still considered the originators/ owners of those images...
