I went to the coast that day to take a sunrise picture from the rocky beach like yours since it was supposed to be partly cloudy. However, the clouds weren't good and I opted to take sunrise pictures at Depoe Bay instead.

I later went down and photographed the Heceta Head Lighthouse. With that I now have at least one picture of each of Oregon's 9 main lighthouses. :)

I like that panoramic. Never actually went down to that black beach myself.

Do you have any shots of the Cape Meares lighthouse?
