Many of us tend to focus only on the photos we've shot recently, and forget about the Gigabytes of potential still sitting on our hard drives. For February, let dig through our archives and find some of those shots we'd planned on editing but never got to them. Since everyone is already looking for their best of 2010 entry, this might dovetail well with that. (It'll also be a good place to post those outtakes from the "best of".)
Any year. Lets try doing a topic of the week to give it some direction, but not too narrow. Here's my initial suggestions, but we can certainly swap out themes if someone else has a better idea. No editing rules, just have fun.
February 1-6: Landscapes/Cityscapes
February 7-13: People
February 14-20: Transportation
February: 21-28: Local flavor (something distinctive of your part of the world)

Is it okay to have something that is new, as well, should it come up and be appropriate, or do you want to reserve this to the oldies festering on our drives?
Sigh. I'm all for it and want to participate. But based on my recent performance in other sc's I've signed up for, I'd be with you more in spirit. Especially since I'm about to start a killer class that may take ALL my attention...

As many as you like. If you want to post one a day or one a week, either is fine. I think limiting it to stuff festering on your hard drive, but it's your own judgement as to what constitutes that.

Especially since my postprocessing has improved by leaps and bounds since joining dpc, there are a ton of pictures from before that I couldn't do anything with then, and can probably do something with now.

I'm in! I just got topaz adjust and I would like to edit some old ones I haven't got to yet using this, and re-edit some to see if I could have done a better job if I had had this software sooner. Hopefully I will learn to use it along the way.
I'd love to participate provided I understand where and how to add my images. Where would I find this posting when the time comes to participate? Sorry for the ignorance.
