If you're gonna be dropping it out in post, you want the light on the backdrop as even as possible, and the tonality of the backdrop to be cleanly separating from the tonality of the subject as much as possible; in other words, light subject/darker BG or dark subject/lighter BG. I think ideally you'd light the BG with two Bees, one 30-45 degrees left and the other 30-45 degrees right, with barndoors to mask the light away from the subject if needed. When you're doing green screen work, the further you can get your subject from the BG the better off you are.
