So, I'm going through voting and hitting a lot of pictures that have nothing to do with holidays....then it dawns on me...a "holiday" in Europe is a vacation, where in the US it's more of a day of observation as in Christmas, Easter, etc...OK...going back to readjust my scores up! :-)

No disrespect meant to everyone who voted, but did anyone else find this challenge to be disappointing on the number of absolute stand-out photo's?
There are a lot of 4's, 5's and 6's, but only a handful of 6's and 7's. Just realized I never scored a single 8, 9 or 10.
Maybe I'm voting to strictly? I honestly don't think so.
Unfortunately, I found the same thing. I was definitely trying to keep an open mind while voting, but so many entries felt like total shoe-horns. I still gave those the benefit of the doubt in almost all cases.

Off to a great start. But for the life of me, I cant figure out why someone felt the need to report my photo in the first place...it was a bad photo with little PP bar some pushing of sliders.

Bad end for your first challenge :(, but that's DPC and to see things on the bright side: first lesson learned! BTW. Date/time is most of the time included with the photo, so it can be a kind of automatic DQ system, although I'm not sure if it works that way.
Score still sucks but this has been a weird challenge. Normally I start higher, have a big drop then a slight rise. This one started bad steadily dropped and now has gained about .4 today and is higher then it started?? Oh well I got a few cool comments.
