I just decided to GET working on it, actually, and hooked up the archive drive and started hunting. I may have a candidate, a doomed candidate, but an image I do love. Or perhaps I'll uncover something more mainstream and wimp out...
I've got one ready that I prepared for December, then realised it was taken in November but only downloaded to my computer in December. Lucky it didn't end up in a DQ. Of course if I look through the whole year I might find something I like better.
I've been ready for this since September! I would have entered a shot into the August free study, but I shot it late in the month and didn't have internet access for a bit. Luckily, this extra time gave me a chance to process it a few different ways, and now I absolutely love my photo.
I really don't think I have a single picture that fits... I have so many pictures of friends, awkward dance moves, reunions and extremely awkward dance moves yet nothing on the dpc worthy front... Humph...
BTW, this has to be an image that did NOT already appear in another challenge. It's just the best of whatever we've done in the year, or does it have to be from a shoot for something we posted here?

It can be anything you have taken during the year of 2010, it can not have been used in any challenges, if you still have it in your portfolio - I would move it to your workshop to hide it from view
How does one possibly decide which photo to enter?
This year I do not have a photo that I truly love above the rest (those I entered in Free Study), but I have like 10 pretty decent shots that I like equally but that could score drastically differently based on what might end up having greater appeal.
