To those who knew him he was the definition of eccentric.
He died today.
He was a prolific painter as well in his later years.
He died of complications due to MS. This disease is terrible. I've seen two buddies go because of this damn disease.
Being a hardcore Frank Zappa fan I knew him through Frank's music but never really listened to his stuff, way too out there for me.
I just saw Dweezil Zappa plays Zappa for the second time this Tuesday. One hell of a show. Frank would be proud of hearing his music performed with the quality his son manages to get from his band of excellent musicians.
