From time to tme I want to batch edit a group of photos in Photoshop cs3 but with the option of making some adjustment to pictures on an individual basis - eg d&b, or cloning.
I usually do this quite happily by using the insert stop command from the drop down box when I write my action to make the action pause. When the stop is reached the batch edit stops, I can twiddle around with the image, then restart the action using the play button.
Sometimes however the stop misfires and I get a message which says that a command has been stopped or cancelled while batching, do I wish to continue to a new picture or stop the batch edit altogether.
For the life of me I cannot see what is different in my set up which causes this problem. I have experimented with the allow continue and checking the report box nect to the tick in the action but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Anyone got any idea ?
At present Ihave a number of psds and an action which flsattens, rsizes, sharpens and saves them. There is a stop after the flattening and when the action stops I can do a little d&b. If I open each psd one at a time and run the action on each the action runs fine. If I try to run the action an a number of psds from the bridge it crashes at the stop.
