Whats up with these people who come here just to vote and don't compete or talk in the forums, with avg voting scores of like 4... Maybe I'm just ranting, but its the only bad comment I have gotten on my challenge entry this week, its doing really well and a Non-Photographer gets to tell me how to shoot my photo? weird...
Not every who is a non-submitter at DPC is a "non-photographer." The advice may be good or bad, but it should be valued for itself, not the person who made it.
However ranting can often make it feel better ... :)

so true so true... guess I was venting LOL Some of these comments are hard to take. In another challenge I had a few people saying the border sucks and others saying The border looks great! LOL.. Guess I should learn to take somethings with a grain of salt :)
I've noticed some people seem kinda shy and lurk awhile, get their toes wet before "jumping in".
But of course, once they do dive in, quite often like the rest of us... they don't ever want to get out of the pool. LOL :P
I jumped immediatly in and got a brown ribbon on my second challenge. I'm so proud of it :0. But at least I got in, and I learned fast. And now I can't get out, the edges are too slippery! Weeeee, I love photography! sorry
I would rather sit back and vote most of the time and not submit unless I have something to show for the challenge. I'm really not that motivated lately but it's still nice to see what everyone else came up with
I got my camera about a month after I joined.
When I voted first I was a non-member without a camera or a submission.
My interest photography and a need to get back into it led me to this site.
