so when does a shiny flat surface become a mirror and gets you DQ'd? i understand reflections in water, but some of these clearly looked like reflections on a shiny table surface.
You won't get disqualified as it's not in the rules not to use mirrors, only on the challenge description.
You'll just get marked down for not meeting the challenge.
shiny wood floors cast nice reflections... everyone thinks water automatically... what about just regular glass with black behind it? or even sunglasses? what about a reflection in a persons -eye-? or... a reflection against something chrome on a dock? reflection perhaps in Reynolds wrap of sunlight on the ground or whatever...! how about your REFLECTORS REFLECTION OF SUNLIGHT ON A SUBJECT? creativity... I hope to see lots and lots and lots.... :-) I look forward to this challenge... think of buildings and glass reflections in them, think of a light bulb reflecting a room! :-) heavens think of the surface of water even reflecting an emerging subject in a fish-tank or something... :-(

I'll suppose i'll also get marked down if I use the term "reflection" in a figurative way.
That was actually my first thought: to shoot myself looking through an empty frame at my family, as I'm a reflection of them and vice versa.
